The 2016 Lincoln MKX road trip took a stop at The Farm Cooking School in Stockton, NJ to learn about what it means to take your time to make something worthwhile.

Chef Ian Knaue, one of the founders of the school, says, "We think we don't have time to cook, but if you make time it changes your life."

He used to live in Manhattan, where he, like many who flock to the city, dreamed of making it big. Yet he quickly found himself dissatisfied with the hectic pace of life there. People, he noticed, would buy a package of "baby carrots" from the store, but had no sense of how those carrots were planted, and grown, and harvested.

So he decided it was time for a change.

At The Farm Cooking School, located on a real working farm, he grows ingredients and teaches students to make meals from scratch.

Our new Lincoln vehicles in Delray Beach were crafted with a similar philosophy. They use only the finest quality leather, and real wood trim from sources you can name -- American walnut burl, Chilean maple, Ziricote wood, and more.
