Happy Wednesday! We are just about over the hump and headed towards another weekend. Are any of your planning on doing a little fishing this weekend, perhaps? If so, you may want to take a little break and read a new Lincoln Now article about Joel La Follette, the owner of an Oregon tackle shop and an avid fly fisherman.

The 2016 Lincoln MKX road trip took a stop at The Farm Cooking School in Stockton, NJ to learn about what it means to take your time to make something worthwhile.

Chef Ian Knaue, one of the founders of the school, says, "We think we don't have time to cook, but if you make time it changes your life."

He used to live in Manhattan, where he, like many who flock to the city, dreamed of making it big. Yet he quickly found himself dissatisfied with the hectic pace of life there. People, he noticed, would buy a package…

"Our culture tends to be a little supermarket-spoiled, and sometimes we’re confronted with the unfortunate reality that tomatoes, for example, are not in season at all times....To minimize that loss, the food Pago serves couldn’t be fresher—when you dine there, almost everything on your plate has come from within a 20-mile radius of your seat."

It's hard out there for a midsize luxury crossover. As this class has fast become one of the most hotly contested throughout the entire industry, the all-important task of standing out is no doubt a tall one.

Such is not the case, however, for our resident midsizer, the all-new 2016 Lincoln MKX. This is one whip that's got winning in its DNA.

Learn all about it from AutoGuide.com Associate Editor, Craig Cole, in the clip below:

At the base of the MKX trim totem pole you'll find the generously equipped Premiere iteration.

"To celebrate the exceptional thought and crafted detail behind the entirely new 2016 Lincoln MKX, Lincoln Automotive Financial Services is giving you the chance to win one of six unique luxury experiences designed entirely for you."

Last year, after the 2015 Lincoln Continental Concept was released at the New York Auto Show, ForbesLife editor Michael Solomon wrote: "Ford introduced the luxurious Continental Mark II, at $10,000 one of the world’s most expensive cars. This was what Elvis and Sinatra drove, and when Warner Bros. wanted to thank Elizabeth Taylor for making Giant, the studio gave her a Mark II in a custom color that matched her eyes."

Now, America's most foundational luxury brand continues its painstaking attention to detail with the consummation of last year's Continental Concept...

New year, new you. 2016 is almost upon us, and it's time to think about who you want to be in the New Year. Why not be yourself... but better? You 2.0. If this sounds good but you're wondering where to begin, we have a suggestion: start with your car. Make it more luxurious, more confident, and more conducive to living an empowered life. Start with the 2016 Lincoln MKC.

There's nothing like the quality of a vinyl record. Only on vinyl can you get uncompressed sound, with all the highs and lows of the original recording.

Unless you drive a Lincoln MKX. Then you can find that quality on every commute.

Lincoln is a company of audiophiles, like you. They teamed up with Revel to create one of the most advanced sound systems available in a car, turning your vehicle into a sound room.

But why is music so important to us, anyway?

Music can actually change our minds, influencing brain chemistry. When we listen to a song…

Lincoln never fails to surprise -- or satisfy. The all-new Lincoln MKZ boasts the brand's redesigned rectangular grilled, which appeared earlier this year on the Lincoln Continental concept. This luxury sedan is sporting more than a facelift. Its 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 allows it to achieve up to 400 horsepower when paired all-wheel drive. Learn more about this upcoming sedan, premiering at the L.A. Auto Show later this week, when you read the article below from Autonews.com!
